Class Teachers
Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to Year 2! We are delighted to have all the children back in school.
We aim to provide your child with opportunities to enjoy a happy, hardworking and successful academic year. We believe that children learn best in a caring, stimulating and exciting environment. This year, we will work together to ensure children reach their full potential and grow into confident learners.
Every morning, we focus on Literacy (spellings, grammar, phonics and reading) and Maths. We focus on Science, Foundation Subjects, French and Mus in the afternoons. We follow a topic-based approach to teach these subjects.

Homework
Children are expected to read daily and learn the weekly spellings. They also have some Maths homework to complete every week. The spellings for the week and Maths homework will be sent out in the homework books. We will give additional homework that will be given half termly. There will be a list of activities to choose from.
