What are knowledge organisers?
Knowledge organisers contain key facts and information that children need to have a basic knowledge and understanding of a topic. They summarise children's key facts and essential knowledge about a curriculum subject. The information is broken down into easily digestible chunks and only includes what's crucial.
Knowledge organisers can be used for any subject or year group; however, knowledge organisers are not a curriculum.
Knowledge organisers are a clear and easy-to-understand way for parents to be more aware of what their children are learning at primary school and thus support them.
