After School Club
C%l Kidz is a small business that was set up in 2006 to offer after school care for the children attending Woodlands school. Over time the club has grown and now offers places to children from Woodlands as well as Cowley Hill School and St Teresa’s School. We offer a collection service from Cowley Hill.
The aim of the club is to offer parents and carers good quality and affordable child care in a safe and stimulating environment. For children we provide a friendly and relaxed place to come and take part in a wide range of interesting activities and to make new friends.
Each session starts with the children having a healthy snack such as sandwiches, cereals, pasta, fresh fruit and yoghurts. The children then move to the C%l Kidz room which is very well resourced to provide a wide range of activities such as art and crafts, games, Console games as well as lots of outdoor activities including scooters, ball games, and climbing and balancing equipment.
In January 2014 OFSTED made an unannounced visit to C%l Kidz and following their inspection graded us as OUTSTANDING. The report states that
“children thrive in this extremely well-resourced club. They are developing a good understanding of how a healthy lifestyle benefit’s the. They are learning about good personal care through excellent everyday routines.”
“Outstanding provision is highly effective in meeting the needs of all children exceptionally well. This ensures that children are well prepared for the next stage of learning.”
